Consumer Wise>> Intermediates and Seniors
This unit is for member’s ages 11-18. In this project, you will have the opportunity to learn how to become a better consumer by completing at least seven of the Consumer Wise and Savvy Challenges each year. Members will accomplish the following learning experiences:
- Learn to make sound consumer decisions
- Mange personal resources
- Understand the relationships between feelings and making good decisions
- Analyze difference and make decisions
- Learn concepts of goods and services, needs and wants, exchange and barter, time value of money.

Project Exhibit Rules for All Units
Project intended for Intermediates and Senior 4-H members only.
Consumer Wise
Exhibit will consist of the following:
- Completed e-record with manual presented in a sturdy binder/notebook.
- A display illustrating one of the Savvy Challenge activities from the manual. The standardized display board size is 4' x 3' with sides that do not overlap, is to be used for 4-H projects.
